Punta Cana.- Investors-promoters of the “Westside Residences Punta Cana” project denied today that they are committing real estate fraud by the construction company Grupo Paceo, as they denounced through various media outlets and that they are willing to demonstrate in any scenario to Mr. Jean Cristofer. Pérez, that there is no real estate fraud and that on the contrary the work is advancing rapidly.
Engineer Joan González Contreras, promoter of the project, claims to have delivered around 100 houses and the complete infrastructure of the project consisting of “Electrified perimeter fence, own sewage and wastewater treatment plant, aqueduct, asphalt, sidewalks, scuppers, access control and underground electrical system, this being a million-dollar investment,” to be able to operate the project properly with all services, which can be verified at any time.
He specifies that the entity has been appealing to the good sense of the buyers so that the readjustment of house prices is an economic balance for both parties, since the construction company cannot assume all the increases and this is what has caused the delay.
He said that the almost one hundred homes have been delivered to the complete satisfaction of the purchasers and explained that in turn the other housing units are in the process of construction for which the purchasers have reached an agreement on price adjustments due to inflation with the construction company.
“The promoters, ideologists and investors of the project called “WESTSIDE RESIDENCES Punta Cana”, who are being subjected to a campaign of discredit and defamation by people who have not wanted to renegotiate their contract caused by the pandemic crisis, post-pandemic, added costs of the increase in maritime freight and construction materials, caused by the national and international situation.
