The United States Embassy in Santo Domingo announced the arrival of the Coast Guard training ship Eagle American, known as “America’s Tall Ship” to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The Eagle arrived on May 25 and will remain until May 28, as part of its academic and cultural mission; During her stay, the public will have the opportunity to visit it.
In the Dominican Republic, the Eagle is at the Dominican Navy Naval Station in San Souci, where the crew is offering free tours to the public, during the following itinerary:
Monday, May 27: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
After concluding its visit to the Dominican Republic, the Eagle training ship will head to Cartagena, Colombia; San Juan Puerto Rico; Bridgetown, Barbados; Hamilton, Bermuda; and Halifax, Nova Scotia, as part of its three-month tour until the end of July, during which the crew will have academic exchanges and offer free tours to the public.
