The transport platform Uber reported that the option of Uber Select expands to Saint Peter of Macoris, Juan Dolio and Boca Chica starting August 29. The expansion will allow more tourist taxi drivers to register as driver partners on the app.
Thus Uber Select, which started in Punta Canaexpands its reach thanks to the agreement with the Dominican Confederation of Tourist Taxi Drivers (Codotatur) and its affiliated associations: Caña Tours SRL, Sichotratur and Sitratubochza.
With this initiative, Uber reinforces its commitment to promoting tourism in the Dominican Republic.
Uber Select stands out for its contribution, not only as a high-quality mobility option, but also as an alternative that enables driver partners to have more opportunities to generate additional earnings.
“This expansion seeks to continue our alliance with Codotatur and its affiliated associations and in this way highlight our continued desire to collaborate with the different groups interested in providing our technology for the benefit of the country,” he said.
