FAEVYT (Argentine Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations) announced the tenth edition of the Travel Sale, which began in 2015 to promote Travel by Argentines, providing Travel opportunities through Travel agencies throughout the country that participate in the Travel Sale year after year.
This year is the first time that national authorities have participated in the official launch. Without the Previaje program, or a similar one; and after a winter season with numbers well below those of previous years, Milei’s government decided to express its support for the event conceived and promoted by the private sector.
The presentation included the participation of Daniel Scioli, Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation, who pointed out that “the winter season was reasonable” and preferred to emphasize the open skies policy as well as to advance that there will be “positive developments for hoteliers that are in line with deregulation.”
Andrés Deyá, president of FAEVYT, reaffirmed that “the Travel Sale is an event created by the federation and promoted by Argentine Travel and tourism companies to provide travelers with the best alternatives integrating new technologies, interests and Travel styles.” He added: “We are convinced that it will be a strong driver of this low season.”
Also present at the podium were Yanina Martínez, Undersecretary of Tourism of the Secretariat of Tourism, Environment and Sports of the Nation; Valentín Díaz Gilligan, President of the Tourism Board of the City of Buenos Aires and of the Federal Council of Tourism; and Martín Romano, Coordinator of Travel Sale FAEVYT.
This tenth edition comes with renewed experiences and more than 40 agencies from all over the country are already registered that will be offering exclusive benefits so that travelers can find their next Travel destination, as reported REPORTUR.com.
