The detainee has multiple complaints for robberies and assaults.

Police agents assigned to the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), based in the María Auxiliadora sector of the National District, arrested an alleged member of a dangerous criminal network dedicated to contacting people through various pages such as Badoo, Instagram, Facebook , Tinder, Grindr, Skocca, among others, to threaten them, torture them and strip them of their belongings.

This is Anthony Yunior de la Rosa Morla, of legal age, resident in the Guachupita sector, National District. His arrest occurred while he was walking along Eusebio Francisco Eusebio Sánchez Street, in said neighborhood, and a cell phone and a pair of wireless headphones were seized.

According to the preliminary report, the detainee had several complaints for robberies and assaults, along with four other criminals in the process of identification.

The group contacts its victims through the aforementioned social networks, as well as on transport platforms such as UBER, UBer Moto, Indrive, PedidosYa, among others, with the aim of stripping them of their belongings under the threat of guns and knives. In that sense, they proceeded to torture their victims, gagging them to force them to hand over the passwords to their cell phones and credit cards.

When questioned about the seized items, Anthony Yunior de la Rosa Morla stated that one of the objects belongs to a complainant. Likewise, he declared that a chain that he had stolen from another victim took her to a pawn shop, from where the investigators managed to recover it through the voluntary surrender of the manager, who declared that the detainee had pawned it for the sum of 13,000 pesos.

Likewise, the agents recovered a backpack and a laptop at the residence of the aforementioned antisocial, voluntarily delivered by his wife.

All recovered items and the detainee were placed under the control of the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
