Dominican Republic.- The stage of the awards that bring together the best of Latin music on the paradisiacal beaches of the Caribbean is already heating up, where the sea becomes the main spectator of a magical night that lights up with great musical hits, trend-setting artists and the great legends of the industry who make the HEAT LATIN MUSIC AWARDS an iconic celebration.
The facilities of the Santo Domingo Marriott Piantini hotel were the place where the countdown began to experience the HEAT Awards 2024 up close with the broadcast of the long-awaited Nominees Night, revealing the artists and
personalities who have stood out on the Latin scene during the period 2023-2024.
The nominees podcast was hosted by Dominican host Caroline Aquino, with the participation of respected entertainment figures; Enrique Santos (President and Creative Director of iHeart Latino), Tony Javier
(Director of Radio Moda and Radiomar in Peru), DimeloKing (Communicator and promoter of the urban genre in Colombia), Moisés Salcé (Tv Host, journalist and Network personality) and Maiky Backstage (Creator of Puerto Rican urban content), who commented from their expertise on the protagonists nominated in the 29 popular choice categories.
The tenth anniversary of the HEAT LATIN MUSIC AWARDS comes with a new space to celebrate the different roles of music, with 10 new categories in which it will be recognized; “Producer of the Year”, “Best Salsa Artist”, “Video Clip Director of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, “Best Viral Song”, “Fandom of the Year”, “Composer of the Year”, “Best Song for Video Games, Series or Movies” and “Best Religious Song” with the purpose of continuing in
avant-garde, making visible and supporting the talent of good Latin music.
The artists who lead the nominations for the HEAT LATIN MUSIC AWARDS 2024 are the Colombians Karol G and Feid with 10 nominations each, followed by Carin León with 6, then Peso Pluma, Grupo Frontera and Xavi
appear with five categories, giving way to Bad Bunny, Young Miko, Fuerza Regida, Maluma, Marshmello and Yandel with four nominations, and closing Arcangel, Eladio Carrión, Shakira, Maria Becerra, Anitta, Greeicy, J Balvin,
Kenia OS, Manuel Turizo, Camilo, Myke Towers, Duki, Elena Rose, Tiësto and Yeri Mua with 3 shortlists respectively.
Voting is now open so that the most loyal fans can choose their favorite artists among the 29 categories, from any device through the LosHeat.Tv app, determining who will be the winners of the prestigious HEAT golden globes on July 11 .
