Restaurants, tourist service providers, theme parks, stores and even pharmacies offer different promotions to encourage voting this Sunday in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. It is only necessary for citizens to present their marked finger, a sign that they exercised their right.
“We have a campaign that we have been promoting from Canirac nationally, which is Vote and we will give you your Coffee; However, many of us also have the option for the restaurant to join in with its gift proposal,” said Julio Villarreal, president of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (Canirac) in Quintana Roo.
That is why this Sunday there will be several restaurants that will offer discounts from 10 percent for those who show their inked finger and marked credential; others will give away appetizers, a drink, appetizer or special promotion.
For example, the Bubayou restaurant in Cancun will give a 20 percent discount to its diners. Pizzas & Grill Bar by Nicky`s, in Playa del Carmen, will apply a 10 percent discount on bills. At Los Chilacos Prime in Playa del Carmen they invite voters a shot. The Casa Kaoba Hotel, located on the Playa-Tulum highway, offers a 15 percent discount on the total consumption of a day pass. Bubba Gump restaurants will give 25 percent off to those who show their thumb.
Cancun Jungles Tours offers those who vote only to pay the taxes (approximately $20) to enjoy their tour in the Nichupté Lagoon and snorkeling. Ventura Park will give a 50 percent discount to adults and minors on its one, fun, platinum and VIP passes and El Garrafón park, in Isla Mujeres, will also apply a 50 percent discount on admission to those who show their marked finger.
Delphinus has a promotion for voters in which for 399 pesos they can access its Ride program, it also has free access to the Interactive Aquarium Cancún for those who visit its facilities in Plaza La Isla, in Cancún. Crococun, located on the Puerto Morelos-Cancún highway, will apply a 25 percent discount to those who, with their finger marked, pay their entrance in cash.
