This situation caused the saturation of the hospitals of the peripherywhich, during the last decade, provided medical and technical support to the thousands of patients who attended the health center located in the María Auxiliadora sector every day.
At that time, the solution was proposed to transfer the main services offered by the emblematic hospital to neighboring centers, thus explaining that the Unit of Burned Pearl F. Ort today it operates in Hospital Traumatology Ney Arias Lora and that the Pediatrics residency be brought to Hugo Mendoza Hospital.
Likewise, Medicine Internal was transferred to the hospitals Father Billini, Salvador B. Gautier and Moscoso Puello; the Maternity and Perinatology areas also to Moscoso Puello. For almost two months, Gynecology left Moscoso and returned to its original center with the launch two days ago of the Hospital Maternal and Child.
Little by little, the Aybar is recovering the pace of work as new facilities are inaugurated and services are incorporated, leaving only block C, where the Surgical Clinic will operate, which is under construction.
