SDE Mayor’s Office and authorities of Changsha, China seek common progress in areas such as tourism – Tourism News

The Mayor’s Office of Santo Domingo Este and city authorities Changshaprovince of Hunanof the People’s Republic of Chinathey signed a formal brotherhood agreement.

The agreement seeks to promote common progress and shared gain, through exchange and cooperation in the areas of tourism, economy, trade, science and technology, education, public health, culture, development and training of human resources.

The pact is based on the principles established in the joint statement between the Dominican Republic and China on the “Establishment of Diplomatic Relations”.

Officials and relevant departments of both cities will actively carry out visits and exchanges, maintaining communication on friendly exchanges, mutually beneficial cooperation and issues of common interest.

Said brotherhood agreement will come into force on June 17 of the current year and will be valid for five years, with automatic renewal unless one of the parties decides to terminate it six months in advance.
