Punta Cana Resort was recognized as “Golf Resort of the Year” by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), an award that highlights destinations that provided quality service to their customers in the previous year.
The Hotel complex was recognized for La Cana and Corales, two world-class golf courses that offer ocean views, challenging layouts and impeccable conditions, highlighting the Resort‘s commitment to providing an “unparalleled” golf experience to enthusiasts around the world.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who strive to provide our guests with exceptional service and unforgettable golf experiences. We look forward to welcoming even more golfers in the seasons to come,” said Puntacana Resort Golf Sales Manager, Mark Fraser.
The North American Convention, hosted at Boyne Mountain Resort, provided a platform for industry professionals to connect, share ideas and celebrate excellence in golf tourism.
Puntacana Resort‘s award was one of the highlights of the event, reflecting its status as a leading destination for golfers seeking both luxury and adventure.
Since the establishment of the IAGTO Awards in 2000, the 660 golf tour operator members meet annually to vote for golf courses, resorts and destinations that have provided “exceptional service to their clients or the industry in the previous year,” the association details in a press release.
