Geronimo Mejiaalso known as Espaillatwas arrested on Avenida Canadá, in the province of San José de Ocoa, where he is supposedly from.
The victim, Luisa Betances Fabian56 years old, was found in a dying state by employees of the Hotel and died early yesterday morning, Monday, while receiving care at the Dario Contreras Hospital.
The woman’s remains will be on display at the municipal funeral home of the Charles de Gaulle Avenue and will be buried on Tuesday afternoon at the Cristo Salvador cemetery in Santo Domingo Este.
