Palladium Hotel Group and Real Madrid Foundation, For the first time in the country, the “Real Madrid Clinics” were held, with the aim of offering children who love this sport the opportunity to train like a player from the famous club.
The clinics were run by Jose Villasevil, coach of the Real Madrid club’s under-12s, who gave the participating children extensive explanations on how to practice and play football.
Made in Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana From July 29 to August 2, the clinics were organized by Palladium Hotel Group together with the Real Madrid Foundation and SportsTourism Education, and 84 children between the ages of 6 and 14 participated.
The program, which was prepared exclusively for guests of Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Punta Cana, used the same methodology used in training with Real Madrid CF players, allowing them to learn advanced techniques and tactics, problem-solving and decision-making on the field, and also explained the sporting values of the white club.
In the days leading up to the start of the clinics, the registration process for participating children and young people was sold out, only for guests staying at Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa.
Gonzalo De Menezesfounder and CEO of SportsTourism Education, said that “it is with great excitement that we are organizing the Real Madrid Foundation Palladium Clinics for the first time in the Dominican Republic, a special and exclusive event where more than 80 children, aged between 6 and 14, learned about the values of Madridismo and were introduced to the La Cantera methodology.”
