NEW YORK.- A young woman of Dominican origin was stabbed to death in front of the building where she lived in the Washington Heights neighborhood, in Upper Manhattan.
Shirley Rodríguez, 29, was on her way to work when she was attacked around 5:35 this morning.
Monday near W 172nd Street and Haven Avenue.
The young woman was rushed to Harlem Hospital, but did not survive her injuries.
The attacker was dressed in black and was waiting for Shirley behind a vehicle.
The main suspect is the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
