El Seibo.- The general director of the National Police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, presided over the inauguration of the Office for Attention to Women and Domestic Violence, belonging to the Specialized Directorate of Attention to Women and Domestic Violence (DEAMVI), in the province of Santa Cruz de El Seibo.
After the majestic youth civic-police parade, Guzmán Peralta headed to the police headquarters in that city, accompanied by the head of the DEAMVI, General Celeste Yanet Jiménez Cabral, to carry out the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The office is organized into several areas equipped with computers, desks and other office furniture necessary for its proper functioning.
During the opening ceremony, General Jiménez Cabral expressed that with this new office dedicated to addressing cases of violence against women, significant steps forward are being taken, and highlighted that the goal is to establish a similar office in all police districts. .
At the end of the event, an institutional photograph was taken as a testimony of the commitment of the National Police to advance and transform for the benefit of society.
