Former President Leonel Fernández challenged current President Luis Abinader to a Dominican debate before the electoral campaign ends.
“We want to see if what we say is true or not true, today we are challenging it, we challenge it to a debate before the close of the campaign and that will define the plebiscite on May 19,” explained the former president.
The presidential candidate for Fuerza del Pueblo explained that this debate would be in-depth with replies, counterreplies and without an established time limit.
“We would like us to hold a debate with the Dominican rules, not with the one-minute American rules, with the ones here in depth without time,” Fernández stated.
