The deputy Sweet Quiñones requested the President of the Republic, Luis Abinaderwhich provides that the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur) go to the aid of the beaches of Boca Chicawhich was destroyed by the Hurricane Berylwhich passed through the country last week.
The legislator called on the President to help her community. She asked him to speak with the Minister of Tourism, David Colladoto repair the Boca Chica beach, because it was completely devastated.
He said that the beach for residents of the municipal district of Andrés, in Boca Chica, known as El Maleconcito, is also affected.
He said that El Malecóncito has been defended in the Chamber of Deputies because it is a “company” in which thousands of men and women work.
“That’s where they earn their living and that of their families, so the government doesn’t have to give them a job in the state,” he added.
He said that the independent work is carried out in what is the “first Tourist Pole of the Capital of the country”, for which reason he asked Collado to pay attention to it, just as he assists other tourist locations.
