“It is of enormous importance that the Caribbean Series develop here. I thank the people who had the initiative and made it a reality. We are going to have a stadium infrastructure by January where we are going to have a stadium with the necessary conditions to stage any type of event,” stated the manager.
At the same time, Carlos Manriquepresident of the Mexican Pacific League, expressed his happiness that this event is taking place in which Mexico will be the host once again, since it has not been held in the Aztec country since 2021.
“The Caribbean Series of 25 will be historic at a stage in which this prestigious event crosses borders and continues to grow. The series returns to Mexico in its first post-pandemic edition. Welcome to this state and to this beautiful Mexico,” Manrique emphasized.
The Mexicali 2025 Caribbean Series will be played from January 31 to February 7 with five teams, which will be the champions of the leagues of the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Japan. The last champion of the Caribbean Series was the Tiburones de la Guaira, who beat the Tigres de Licey 3-0 to remain the monarchs of winter ball.
