Inauguration of Filapi 2024

With the participation of beekeepers from 17 countries, businessmen and national authorities, the XVI Latin American Beekeeping Congress was inaugurated FILAPI 2024, in the Pedro Mir Library, of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD).

FILAPI 2024 is organized by the Latin American International Beekeeping Federation (FILAPI), together with the Dominican Agrobusiness Board, Inc. (JAD), and will take place from November 13 to 16, 2024.

This Congress, considered as the event The most important beekeeping industry in Latin America, it is organized every two years in different member countries of the International Latin American Beekeeping Federation.

Jointly, there will be carried out a exposure commercial of products related to beekeepingas well as honey tasting and tasting activities.

In addition, spaces will be dedicated to reflect on the role of women in the beekeeping and the strengthening of young people in the sector, through workshops and work tables.
