Flybondi, Argentina’s first low-cost airline, chose Kiu System Solutions, a global technology and next-generation systems company, as its technology provider to modernize its marketing, reservations and after-sales system.
The Kiu PSS passenger management system (Passenger Service System) is a set of solutions for ticket sales through various channels, after-sales management, airport operations and administrative control of revenue. The implementation of the Kiu PSS represents a fundamental project for Flybondi because by adopting this technological solution it provides a better experience to its passengers throughout the Travel process, expanding its ability to standardize operations, improve traceability and adapt more flexibly to new businesses.
To boost its business model, Flybondi will now benefit from the distribution of its inventory through the channel of Travel agencies connected to Kiu GDS (global distribution system). Currently this indirect sales channel is used by more than 290,000 sales agents in 45,000 Travel agencies in more than 80 countries. Low cost will be able to enter this agency circuit and also distribute in other globalizing systems.
In addition, Kiu System Solutions’ reservation and passenger services system is integrated with Ticket 3.0 technology, allowing tickets to be renamed, transferred, gifted and resold easily, securely and with complete autonomy, as reported.
