Viajes El Corte Inglés, a leading company in the tourism sector, and Liverpool, the largest department store chain in Mexico, celebrated this Thursday the 20th anniversary of their
alliance, a collaboration that “over the years has allowed them to offer their customers a wide range of Travel options with the quality and support of both brands.
The two companies celebrated the anniversary of their alliance with a special event on the terrace of Liverpool Insurgentes (Mexico City), which was attended by executives from both companies and personalities from the diplomatic and business worlds.
During the cocktail, Carlos Marín, general manager of Liverpool, confirmed the alliance between both companies and highlighted the importance of having a service as relevant as Travel in their portfolio, allowing their clients to find everything they are looking for in one place. He also stressed the importance of having an ally that shares the same values and commitments to service, excellence and quality.
“During these 20 years together, El Corte Inglés has been a great ally for Liverpool. Our joint commitment will always be to offer the highest quality in tourist experiences to people, in places where they can create great experiences and thus, we can be part of their
lives,” he commented.
Jenny Zapata, Vice President of Americas for Grupo Viajes El Corte Inglés, stressed the importance of the Mexican market within the Group’s expansion and internationalization strategy. In this regard, she indicated that “currently Mexico is the most important market for Viajes El Corte Inglés in America and we feel honored to reach Mexicans with the help of an ally like Liverpool.”
He also highlighted that Viajes El Corte Inglés offers everything that Liverpool customers may need. He stressed that they are experts in Travel, offering a wide range of products and services that range from the national scope to European destinations, long Trips, beaches and cruises, and are also selected distributors of partners of great importance in the Mexican market, using Disney as an example.
