He Dominican Government, through the government social protection program Improve yourself, announced the delivery, for the second consecutive year, of the Mothers Bonus, which is intended for one million Dominican mothers in vulnerable conditions; The amount to be received by each of the beneficiaries is RD$1,500 through a single, freely available transfer.
The institution reported that on the occasion of the celebration of Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 26, President Luis Abinader ordered the delivery of the so-called “cariñito” as a recognition to mothers for their dedication and ability to overcome difficulties; also to contribute to the economic well-being of these households.
It is important to mention that “Cariñito 2024” is included in the institution’s budget and amounts to RD$1,500,000.00. Beneficiary mothers will be able to verify their information by calling *462 or on our social networks @presidenciard and @superaterdo.
The beneficiaries of the Mothers Bonus 2024 are identified in the database of the Single Beneficiary System (Siuben), as well as by other administrative databases, whose reports were sent to the Supérate program, with the aim of being prioritized in the categorization process. .
Among the characteristics to receive the “Cariñito 2024”, the beneficiaries of the Mothers Bonus 2024 must not have economic income above the poverty line, and it will be validated with the database of the Social Security Treasury (TSS), with the exception of mothers who have children under 5 years old, and those who have older adults or people with disabilities under their responsibility and care.
Among the eligibility criteria are being Dominican, residing in the national territory, being a holder of an identity and electoral card, as well as earning a salary less than the established limits. Only one (1) monetary transfer can be received per beneficiary.
A hybrid payment method will be implemented that includes deposits to personal accounts and Banreservas remittances.
Both the Presidency and Supérate reported that the “Cariñito 2024” will be transferred starting this Friday, May 24, and will continue in the coming days until the universe of beneficiary mothers is completed. The disposition of the amount received will have a period of 90 days to be exchanged.
