The raids and operations were carried out in the sectors of Kosovo, Villa, Europa, Barrio Nuevo, Las Dos Jardas, Villa La Fe, Lotificación and Doble vía, where a large quantity of stolen objects, firearms, controlled substances, etc. were found.

Veron, La Altagracia Province; Early this morning, members of the Criminal Investigation Unit (DICRIM), accompanied by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and members of the Preventive Police, carried out several raids in different places where they buy, store and sell stolen objects.
During these operations, they also raided places where unscrupulous individuals buy and sell controlled substances and illegally carry firearms.
The sectors intervened were: KOSOVO, LAS DOS JARDAS, VILLA LA FE, BARRIO NUEVO, VILLA EUROPA, LOTIFICATION AND THE DOUBLE ROAD, of this municipal district Verón-Punta Cana.
In these operations the following were found:
01 blank-firing weapon, pistol type, brand G2, illegible numbering, which was seized by no. 02896-2024.
02 homemade weapons of the CHAGON type.
01 plastic weapon, black color.
11 Bladed Weapons of different types.
01 Lima.
06 cell phones.
01 mask.
03 necklaces and a bracelet, alluding to the band Los Trinitarios.
49 Portions of a rocky material, white in color, presumably CRACK.
15 Portions of an unknown green vegetable, presumably MARIJUANA.
04 Arrested.
04 motorcycles.
The operations were led by Colonel José V. Poché Valdés PN, Commander of the Verón-Punta Cana Department and Lt. Colonel Ariendy DIPRE ACEVEDO PN, Head of the DICRIM Verón-Punta Cana Investigation Division.
