Verón-Punta Cana.- As part of the preparation process of the Verón-Punta Cana City Council for the approach of the 2024 cyclonic season, the entity has begun equipping the situation room of the Department of Risk and Disaster Management (DGRD) and the Operations Center District Emergency Department (COE).
In addition to the equipment, this department concluded the District Contingency Plan for the 2024 Cyclonic Season and the review of the protocol for hydrometeorological events, so its socialization with the various institutions of the local response system is expected in the next few days.
