Cuba admits alterations in collection and payment flows with tourism

During the annual balance of the Cuban Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) headed by Juan Carlos García Granda, it was admitted that one of the biggest challenges is the effects of the United States economic blockade, in addition to the inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries sponsors of terrorism, which leads to alterations with the collection and payment flows for participants in the tourism business.

However, despite not achieving recovery, the tourism sector occupies second place in importance within the Gross Domestic Product and third in terms of monetary collections, after professional services and remittances.

Cuba begins this Thursday the International Tourism Fair Ministry of Tourism (FITCUBA) in Cayo Coco until the 5th of next month at the Jardines del Rey hub.
