Bávaro, Punta Cana.- In a show of commitment and community work, the residents of the El Cortecito and Los Corales sectors, led by the president of the neighborhood association, Marlon Alonzo, have begun a sustained operation to collect and bag garbage and solid waste. In an effort to improve the local environment, the community has decided to take action with its own resources and determination.
A call was also made to the representative of the Mayor’s Office, Councilor Wagner Encarnación, seeking to make official the city council’s support for this citizen initiative.
With this collaboration, it is expected to strengthen the operation and guarantee a lasting impact on the cleanliness and care of the environment in the area. Joining efforts between the community and local authorities is essential to create a healthier and more prosperous environment for everyone.
