Of the 12 provinces in alertfour are in yellow and eight in green. Those in yellow are: Montecristi, La Vega, Santiago and Santiago RodrÃguez.
While Saint Dominic and the National District were included in the alert green today. The others in green are: MarÃa Trinidad Sánchez, Puerto Plata, Monseñor Nouel, Espaillat, Valverde and Dajabón.
He COE recommended people refrain from crossing, riversstreams and ravines that present high volumes of water in the provinces under alert.

During the afternoon and early evening of this Thursday the downpours moderate to strong over different municipalities of: San Cristóbal, Peravia, Azua, La Altagracia, San Pedro de MacorÃs, La Romana, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Monte Plata and Samaná.
