Cancun: Foreign woman tries to throw her baby off a hotel balcony

At a Hotel on Tulum Avenue in Cancun, a foreign woman tried to throw her baby from a third-floor balcony of the Hotel. Apparently, the woman suffers from mental problems.

Given the call from citizens to 911 emergencies, the staff of the Specialized Group for Attention to Family and Gender-Based Violence (Geavig) attended the case that was classified as attempted homicide to the detriment of a minor.

Both Geavig and paramedics were taken to a medical center where the woman was treated with medication and the baby was handed over to the family who arrived at the Jesús Kumate Rodríguez General Hospital to take both the woman and the baby back to their country of origin. so that they have the corresponding medical treatment, as reported by Yucatán Diario.
