A few days after Hurricane Beryl, a crocodile was found in the pool of a Hotel in Playa Langosta, in the Hotel zone of Cancun, which alarmed tourists. Apparently the reptile managed to get from the sea and enter the pool.

Local residents and tourists alike called 911 to report the presence of the animal. Authorities rushed to rescue it and take it back to its natural habitat, according to Quintana Roo Hoy.

Firefighters and Civil Protection teams were present to safely rescue the animal that was taken to the mangroves and lagoon located near Playa Langosta.

As reported by REPORTUR.mxone of the phenomena that Hurricane Beryl brought to the beaches of Playa del Carmen was sand, counteracting the strong erosion that was occurring in some areas. (Playa del Carmen: Hurricane Beryl brought sand to the beaches).

According to María de Lourdes Várguez Ocampo, Secretary of Sustainable Environment and Climate Change, the beaches that already have a lot of sand are: Fundadores Beach, Punta Esmeralda and Pelícanos, where the growth of the beach is evident.
