Mexican authorities have requested an arrest warrant for the Spanish brothers, Antonio and Guillermo López Lázaro, who apparently committed fraud against the companies that hired the services of Summerwind Latam, a company that represents airlines specializing in cargo and passenger services, and in the process, Federico Lledó Soria, its owner, was left without shares.

Lledó Soria, also a Spaniard, opened a subsidiary based in Cancún and invited the López Lázaros to manage the subsidiary, leaving Guillermo with power of attorney to establish GSA Summerwind Latam in Quintana Roo, which would operate in Mexico, Uruguay and Guatemala. The company represented Evelop Airlines, Transportes Aéreos Guatemaltecos and Compañía de Aviación Paraguaya, who were charged for services but the money ended up in other accounts and Lledó Soria was left without shares and the companies without services or reimbursements, as revealed by Darío Celis in his column in El Heraldo.

The López Lázaro brothers are in Spain, where they requested an injunction to avoid being tried in Mexico, but it was rejected, so it is expected that Interpol will transfer them to the Aztec country to atone for the crimes committed.

As reported by REPORTUR.mxIn August 2016, the general managers of GSA Summerwind Latam, Antonio López-Lázaro, and of the airport handler SATI SERCOM, Germán López, signed a reciprocity agreement to add the services that both offer to airlines, thus closing their first agreement with the newly formed division in Latin America. Under the agreement, the services provided by both companies were passenger and cargo GSA, legal representation, commercial representation, direct and indirect ticket sales, reservation systems, strategic consulting and management of air operators and Airport Handling, that is, aircraft handling, passenger services, air operations and dispatch, logistics, cargo and equipment maintenance.
