Decolar, Despegar’s brand in Brazil, analyzed customer Travel preferences for the July 2024 holidays, based on searches for national and international packages on its website and app. Although Santiago de Chile appears in first place, Argentina has three destinations among the 10 most searched: Buenos Aires, Bariloche and Ushuaia.
Daniela Araujo, Director of Destination Products at Decolar, explained: “Travel searches for the July holidays continue to grow. “We recorded a 107% increase in package searches, compared to the same period in 2023.” And she recommended customers sign up for the channels to access better deals.
According to the study, the ranking of the 10 most searched international destinations are: Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Orlando, Punta Cana, Cancún, Ushuaia, Paris, Lisbon, and New York. Meanwhile, national destinations: Recife, Maceió and Porto Seguro top the list, followed by Salvador, Natal, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza, João Pessoa, Florianópolis and São Paulo.
