The Roman.- The National Emergency Assistance and Security System 911 continues to equip the Fire Departments with the formal delivery of a state-of-the-art truck to the Municipal District, Bayahíbe, La Altagracia province, to provide more efficient and timely attention to the citizens of the locality in the event of fire emergencies.

This new acquisition is the result of the continued commitment of the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, to strengthen the security and well-being of all Dominicans, and the constant support of the Minister of the Presidency, Joel Santos Echavarría.

Representing the executive director of the 911 System, pilot colonel, Randolfo Rijo Gómez, ERD, the deputy director of the institution, pilot colonel, Harold Jiménez Polanco, ERD, was present, who handed the keys to the director of the Bayahíbe Municipal Board, Enriquillo Brito .

“This state-of-the-art fire truck is equipped with cutting-edge technology and advanced features, designed to address a wide variety of emergency situations. In addition, it has a 600-gallon water tank and first response applications in urban and forest fires, with a body and firefighter system design, according to the needs that arise; as well as tools that emergency response requires,” said Jiménez Polanco.

Likewise, the citizens of the district appreciated this new acquisition, which provides greater peace of mind and contributes to a safer environment for everyone.

The event was attended by the mayor of the Bayahíbe Fire Department, Colonel, Carlos Manuel Santana, and the president of the Presidential Commission to Support Neighborhood Development, Rolfi Rojas Guzmán and other authorities of the province.

The 911 System urges citizens to give way to emergency units to effectively assist reported events.
