Bávaro, Punta Cana.- A man was arrested yesterday after allegedly seizing a gun without documents and more than one hundred thousand pesos in cash, according to the Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DICRIM) of Bávaro.
In a raid carried out in the tourist area, led by Major José Ramírez, the named Juan Pablo Monte Holguin, 43 years old, who was seized with a Taurus brand pistol, Cal. 9mm. ACB543484 series, with its charger and 12 capsules for it.
He also carried the sum of RD$113,500, the sum of US$131, five cell phones, a tablet and two passports, including one Haitian and another Mexican.
He was brought to justice.
