The group Bacilli reunited with his Dominican public on Friday night. He did so in a concert intimate at the La Fiesta Theater at the Jaragua Hotel.
The group, which was formed in USA In 1997, he returned to the country after five years of absence.
The Colombian Jorge Villamizarone of the band’s vocalists, began his speech by telling anecdotes about his relationship with Dominican Republicmentioning coincidences that, he said, he will always remember with Fernando Echavarría, Juan Luis GuerraSergio Vargas, among other local artists.
The audience, made up of a mix of Fansenjoyed the show of the group that marked the Latin pop in the late 1990s and throughout the 2000s.
He concert It began with the songs “I don’t know tomorrow” by Luis Enrique; “Small romances”, “Notes from my psychologist”, “Losing myself with you”, “For playing the good guy” and “Headaches”.
A highlight of the evening was the performance of Brazilian music by André Lopesguitarist and vocalist of the band. Lopes performed a song in Portuguese, creating a wave of enthusiasm in the audience, who waved their arms from side to side taking advantage of the energy and rhythms of this South American country.
The show featured a staging which included more than eight musicians and two screens above the stage. These screens were mirrors to magnify the images of the artists who have merged folk, rock and vallenato for more than a decade.
The presentation of Bacilli is part of the tour “Little Romances Tour“, name of the album released this year.
