The capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo, and the city of the heart, Santiago de los Caballeros, will be the hubs of the tournament that will be held between October 16 and November 3. 16 teams will fight for the crown currently held by Spain after winning the last tournament in India two years ago.

Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, New Zealand and the United States have already qualified for the tournament and will join the hosts Dominican Republic in the group stage.
