Azul and GOL airlines announced a commercial cooperation agreement that will connect their Flight networks in Brazil through a codeshare agreement. This association covers all national routes operated exclusively, that is, the routes operated by both GOL and Azul are not included in the shared code.
Customers will be able to access the benefits of this commercial partnership starting at the end of June, when the offer is available through the sales channels of both companies. In addition, it will allow them to have access to hundreds of new domestic routes, along with more convenient connection opportunities.
The agreement also includes frequent flyer programs, allowing Azul Fidelidade and Smiles members to earn points on their preferred program by purchasing segments included in the codeshare agreement.
Check-in must always be carried out through the digital channels or airport counters of the airline that operates the Flight or, in the case of connecting Flights, the first segment, regardless of the company that sold the ticket. And baggage check-in follows this same rule.
