As the country must continue to strengthen local business relations in the tourism sector, the Hotel and Tourism Association Trade Exhibition (Asonahores), will have the participation of small and medium-sized companies led by women this year 2024, as a way of supporting entrepreneurship and the development of the productive chain of the sector.

This was reported by the executive vice president of Asonahores, Aguie Lendor, who understands that many SMEs already have a product that can be sold to the industry, but for some reasons they do not do so today.

“There are entrepreneurial women who already have a well-articulated product that they could provide to the industry, which is why we are donating that space in the exhibition so that they can participate,” she explained.

When offering details about the XXXVI exhibition, which will be held from October 9 to 11 in Punta Cana, Lendor pointed out that there are many women who produce ham, granola, chocolate and honey, which are products that can be offered to the industry to strengthen the production chain.

“There are women who already have their assets ready to be sold. There are also others who offer services,” she said, according to Hoy.

According to the executive, they have designed an event with a dynamic agenda to strengthen the commercial relationship between the main productive sectors that do business with the Hotel sector.

The event will feature the participation of more than 120 companies, which will set up their stands in more than 4,000 square meters.
