Following up on the intention of Dominican tourism to create synergies in favor of child care in the sector, the executive director of the National Institute for Comprehensive Care of Early Childhood (INAIPI), Kissed Santana, Together with a delegation from the institution, he held a meeting with the executive vice president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism (Asonahores), Aguie Lendor; the executive director of the Puntacana Group Foundation, Paul Beswick and the president of Asoleste, Ernesto Veloz.
The meeting was held with the objective of following up on the plan established in the agreement signed between INAIPI and Asonahores, which aims to achieve the installation of CAIPI centers, where children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old, of parents who work in the tourism and Hotel sector, will benefit.
Likewise, it will promote studies and surveys of the population of children dependent on the sector’s collaborators who are in early childhood.
In addition, in order to learn about the INAIPI Care Model, representatives of the institutions toured different CAIPI centers in the municipal district of Punta Cana.
“We value the effort and commitment of this type of initiative that contributes to the comprehensive development of our institution,” said Asonahores.
The agreement between both entities was signed last year in 2023.
