Air turbulence: twelve people are injured

Eight passengers have ended up in hospital due to turbulence suffered on a Flight connecting Doha (Qatar) with Dublin (Ireland)

The incident occurred when the plane, a Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9, was flying over Turkish airspace. Although a total of 12 occupants suffered injuries, the aircraft crew has decided to continue to the Irish capital instead of diverting to an alternative airport.

In a brief statement, Qatar Airways explains that “a small number of passengers and crew suffered minor injuries and are receiving medical attention.” The company has promised to conduct an investigation.
