Aeroméxico will begin voting on the salary proposal for flight attendants

After the approval in the Assembly of the Union Association of Aviation Flight Attendants of Mexico (ASSA), for the review of the collective contract proposed by Aeroméxico, which contemplates a 4.65% increase in salary, it will be put to a vote and must obtain 51% of the votes in favor to cancel the July 1 strike.

Likewise, if the proposal is rejected by the Flight attendants, the union leaders will have to return to the negotiating table. 3,120 ASSA Flight attendants were called for the vote, and it will take place from Tuesday, June 18 to Thursday, June 27, with Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the fast food area of ​​Terminal 2 of the Airport International of Mexico City (AICM), this was reported by the union in the call.

This consultation will be supervised by the verifiers of the Federal Center for Conciliation and Labor Registration. The agreement contemplates that the airline will give 48 hours of rest on long-haul Flights such as to Europe and Asia.
