Rome Italy.- President Luis Abinader arrived in the Italian capital, Rome, at 1:16, along with his family, and they will be received this Monday in a private audience, by His Holiness, Pope Francis, in Vatican City.
The Dominican head of state, upon arriving in Rome, was received by the Dominican ambassadors to the Holy See, Dr. Luis Emilio Montalvo and in Rome, Tony Raful.
President Abinader and his family will visit the Vatican Gardens and the Sistine Chapel.
Likewise, during his stay in Europe, the president will also meet with Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, and with his counterparts, from Italy, Sergio Mattarella, and from Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
