Rome.- President Luis Abinader arrived at the Vatican headquarters for his private audience with Pope Francis, at 9:05 in the morning (local time in Rome), in the company of the first lady Raquel Arbaje, along with his daughters Esther, Graciela and Adriana.
Also the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs José Julio Gómez; the Dominican ambassador to the Holy See, Luis Montalvo Arzeno; the director of State Ceremonial, ambassador Francisco Cantizano; his assistant Mercedes Pichardo and the guest journalists, José Monegro and Roberto Cavada.
President Abinader and his companions were received by the procession of the gentle men of His Holiness, Monsignor Leonardo Sapienza, Regent of the Prefecture of the Papal Household, and the Chief of Protocol Monsignor Javier Fernández G.
