Due to the recommendations of the Operations Center of Emergencies (COE), the authorities closed the national parks El Morro and Los Haitises, in addition to the natural monuments Salto de Damajagua, El Limón, Laguna Gri-Gri and Cabo Francés Viejo.

The measure includes the Sanctuary of Marine Mammals of Estero Hondo, according to the Ministry in a story on his Instagram account.

He COE issued yellow alert for Puerto Plata, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Hato Mayor, El Seibo and Samaná. Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, La Vega, Duarte, Hermanas Mirabal, La Altagracia and Montecristi are on green alert.
