The Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo held a grand 5-course wine pairing dinner with the Spanish sommelier, Ferran CentellesThe 5-course dinner was held at the Filigree Restaurant.
During dinner, diners were able to immerse themselves in an extraordinary culinary experience in search of harmony, balance and contrasts of aroma and flavour between dishes and wines led by Ferran Centelles.
Ferran, a writer, educator and winner of international awards in the field of oenology and gastronomy, shared his knowledge and vast experience during the dinner by directing the tasting where attendees were able to delight in tasting 5 Spanish wines paired with five dishes with Mediterranean and Caribbean touches, managing to create the perfect balance between flavors.
The tasting, organized by the Catalonia Santo Domingo Hotel and held at the Filigrana Restaurant of the same Hotel, was sponsored by Exclusive Traveler Club and Sembra Dominican Republic.
The dinner concluded with great success, leaving all guests very impressed, not only by the quality of the wines and dishes tasted, but also by the impeccable organization of the event.
