With the main objective that the communities of Flints and the region to showcase and promote their local products, tourist attractions and resources, the second fair is held “Expo Pedernales Consume Our Own 2024“, which was dedicated to the president Luis Abinader.
Organized by the Municipal Council, the Governorate and other entities, the activity took place in the municipal park of Pedernales, with the presence of various tourist, artisan, educational and cultural groups, as well as authorities and community representatives.
During the inauguration, the Chapter House recognized Hecmilio Galván as “Adopted Son” of the border city, a distinction granted by the City Council of Pedernales for his contributions to the community.
Galván expressed his gratitude and pledged to continue serving the community, stressing that Pedernales will become the driving force of development in the south of the country.
“Expo Pedernales Consume lo Nuestro 2024” is an essential platform to boost local production and strengthen the region’s economy. The fair not only allows local producers to showcase their products, but also encourages tourism and promotes the area’s culture and crafts.
The impact of the event will be reflected in greater recognition of Pedernales products at national and international level, contributing to the sustainable development of the community.
