As reported by REPORTUR.mxAeroméxico had planned in December the incorporation of 25 new 737 MAX aircraft and 5 new 787 Dreamliner aircraft. It detailed at that time that by 2024 it had the illusion of celebrating 90 years of Aeroméxico and for this it would add state-of-the-art MAX aircraft to its fleet.
“This will allow us to expand our route network to our neighboring country, the United States, and continue increasing Mexico’s connection to Europe and the rest of the world,” said Aeroméxico CEO Andrés Conesa at the time. (Aeroméxico: more routes to Europe and Asia with new aircraft in 2024).
