The regional director of Mitur, Carlos Atahualpa Paulino, reported that the Minister of Tourism, David Colladowill be in the next few days Puerto Platawhere he will give details of the start of several works that the government will build through the Miturwith the aim of continuing a constant program of improvement of the tourist destination in the North area.
He revealed that the institution has invested 1.8 billion pesos in works to strengthen tourism development in the province.
Paulino cited investments such as: the rehabilitation of Sosúa Beach, where three plazas are being built with an investment of more than 700 million pesos. In addition, it was agreed to build a park for all Sosuenses where the parking lot was planned to be built.
Also, the rehabilitation of the Luperón treatment plants, paving of the access road to Playa Senorte in La Isabela Historica, reconstruction of the pumping station in Playa Dorada and Long Beach, among others.
