With the start of the mid-year season, Avianca has announced the change in the dimensions of hand luggage allowed to avoid additional charges. The personal item must pass through the airport meters with these dimensions: 45 x 35 x 20 cm (height, length and width).
“Take into account the luggage included in the fare of the purchased ticket, as well as its characteristics, to avoid additional charges. The airline has updated the dimensions of the allowed personal item (45 x 35 x 20 cm), as well as the meters available at airports to check if this requirement is met, in order to avoid additional charges,” the airline warns.
For the season Avianca began routes between Bogotá and Paris, and Medellín connecting with Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima and Aruba; as well as the reactivation of 13 seasonal routes, Avianca mentioned in a statement.
As reported REPORTUR.com.arAvianca begins its direct operation between Buenos Aires and Medellín to provide greater connection and access to air transport in Argentina, thus offering 62% more seats offered than in 2019. (Avianca increases connection between Colombia and Argentina).
“We are working, together with the authorities, to increasingly connect our countries because we know that strengthening connectivity between Argentina and Colombia promotes and benefits both markets. In addition, people who arrive in Medellín on this new route will be able to connect with 75 destinations in 25 countries to which Avianca travels,” said Ana María Copete, director of Commercial Development at Avianca.
