He Emergency Operations Center (COE) of Dominican Republic keeps on red alert to the Duarte province, and to the National District, and another 13 in yellow, due to the instability of a trough and the humidity caused by a tropical wave.
He COE also put in green alert to another 14 provinces where, together with the others, possibly “a favorable environment remains for the continuation of the rains in much of the country,” they said in a statement.
The Center assured that the rainy environment will be present mainly towards the Caribbean coast and the Atlantic coast. This situation is due to the presence of a tropical wave and one trough southern Haiti kept under alert downpours

He National Center of Hurricanes of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), warned of a tropical wave over the sea Caribbean plant that is producing an area of downpours and disorganized thunderstorms. The Center assured that, with the environmental conditions that are occurring “it is likely that a tropical depression for the end of the week as the system slowly moves westward,” referring to the Caribbean.
The formation probability in the next 48 hours is 40%, while for the next 7 days, the formation probability is high with an 80% chance.
The Center hopes that the disturbance “snake” over the sea Caribbean west through the weekend and begin moving slowly northwestward early next week.
