Due to the political situation of Venezuelahe National Institute of Civil Aviation announced the extension of the suspension of Flights to and from Panama, Dominican Republic and Peru until September 30, 2024. The most affected airline is Cupwith 42 weekly Flights, which has stopped operating since July 31.

The measure has affected 100 weekly Flights on average. Another airline is Latam from PeruAlthough it is not one of the most affected, it has had to suspend seven weekly Flights to Venezuela.

Besides, Turpial Airlines and Venezuelan Airlines have also stopped operating routes to Panama City, which allowed Venezuelans to connect with USA and Argentina.

On the list of affected airlines connecting with the Dominican Republic is Sky High with an average of 37 weekly Flights, LaserTurpial, Avior, Rutaca and Venezuelan Aviation, which also helped connect with the USA and other Caribbean destinations.

The airlines that still enjoy their operations to Venezuela are: Avianca and Wingo via Bogota, Caribbean Airlines from Port of Spain and Satena which flies to Valencia and soon to Maracaibo.
