The twenty-sixth Fair International Book Saint Dominic (FILSD 2024) will once again present the Pavilion of the Imaginationwhich debuted in the last edition and immediately became one of the main attractions of the event, which this year will be held from November 7 to 17 at the Plaza de la Cultura Juan Pablo Duarte.
Following its success, this innovative pavilion returns with a immersive proposal and technological that will allow attendees to enter literary worlds through metaverseas well as discover the most recent scientific and technological advances, with a focus on creativity and innovation.
The FILSD 2024 will pay tribute to the Dominican writer Matthew Morrisonwinner of the 2010 National Literature Award, and will have as a special guest Washington Heights, home to the largest Dominican community in the United States.

This activity, which combines reality virtual and interactive narrative, it is ideal for both young people and adults interested in exploring new forms of reading and entertainment.
The pavilion will also become a center for exhibition technologicalwith the participation of important educational institutions, such as the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), the Santo Domingo Technological Institute (INTEC), the Iberoamerican University (UNIBE), the Pedro HenrÃquez Ureña University (UNPHU) and the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher (PUCMM).
These institutions will exhibit some of their most advanced projects in areas such as mechatronicsthe intelligence artificial, the reality augmented reality and robotics, connecting academic knowledge with practical applications.
ITLA will present a sign language translator based on reality augmented reality and a rehabilitation system for hands with neurological injuries, while INTEC will highlight its advances in space exploration with the ROVER robot, winner of the NASA Human Exploration Challenge 2024.
